Foam tape, as the name suggests, uses foam, a foamed material, as a substrate. It's manufactured by applying hot melt adhesive, rubber adhesive, or both to one or both sides and using a release liner for separation. Double-sided foam tape is more common in the market.。
Because foam tape uses a foamed material as its base, in addition to the inherent adhesive properties of tape, the properties of the foamed material also give it properties such as shock absorption and noise reduction, filling gaps, suitability for rough surfaces, waterproofing, and compensating for thermal expansion differences between different materials.
I.Main Characteristics of Foam Tape
1• Excellent sealing, preventing gas release and atomization.
2• Excellent resistance to compression deformation, i.e., the elasticity is durable, ensuring long-term shock protection for components.
3• Flame retardant, contains no harmful or toxic substances, will not leave residue, will not contaminate equipment, and is not corrosive to metals.
4• Can be used in a wide range of temperatures. From negative20degrees Celsius to90degrees Celsius.
5• Excellent surface wettability, easy to bond, easy to manufacture, and easy to die-cut.
6• Long-lasting adhesion, high peel strength, strong initial adhesion, and excellent weather resistance!
7• Waterproof, solvent-resistant, high-temperature resistant, and has good conformability on curved surfaces.

Foam tape is widely used in electronic and electrical products, machinery parts, various small appliances, mobile phone accessories, industrial instruments, computers and peripherals, auto parts, audio-visual equipment, toys, cosmetics, crafts and gifts, medical instruments, power tools, office supplies, shelf display, home decoration, acrylic glass, ceramic products, and insulation, bonding, sealing, anti-slip and buffer shock-proof packaging in the transportation industry.

Factory News: On May 11th, General Cui chaired a management meeting on environmental protection in the factory meeting room. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the country has attached great importance to ecological civilization construction and ecological environmental protection, and incorporated it into the overall and strategic layout of "five in one" and "four comprehensives." Recently, relevant departments at all levels of the province, city, and district have introduced effective measures in energy conservation and emission reduction, ecological restoration and governance, and environmental risk prevention and control. As the governance work is carried out in depth, problems are gradually discovered and valued. It is against this backdrop that the company leaders, in response to the changing circumstances, actively coordinated and cooperated with the directly managed departments, and conducted a comprehensive investigation of the relevant facilities in the factory, and filled in the gaps in supporting materials.
